Day Visitors
Woodside Lodges Country Park now welcomes day visitors to experience the beauty of our park and indulge in a range of outdoor activities, or just simply to visit your friends staying on site.
Opening Times:
1st May – 10th September:
- Arrivals between 10am and 4pm
- All visitors must leave by 6pm
- Open Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday
11th September – 30th April:
- Arrivals between 10 am and 3 pm
- All visitors must leave by dark
- Open daily
Important:
Please check in and pay at Reception to receive your pass.
During September to April, email us to book and pay on arrival.
Fishing: Spend a relaxing day by the lake, casting your line and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. Our well-stocked lake is ideal for anglers of all levels.
Paddleboarding/inflatables: Take to the water and explore the lake on a paddleboard. With calm waters and stunning views, it’s the perfect way to enjoy a fun day out.
Wild Swimming (for up to 1 hour on site): For those seeking a refreshing dip, our lake offers the perfect spot for wild swimming. Immerse yourself in nature and enjoy the invigorating waters of the countryside.

Fishing
£10 per day, per person (up to 2 rods).
Wild Swimming
£6 per person for up to 1 hour on-site.
Day Visitors:
- Adults (over 18): £7 per day
- Children: £5 per day
- Dogs: £3 per day
- Family Ticket: £20 per day (2 adults and up to 3 children). Enjoy the lake—bring your own paddleboard or inflatables!
