The Woodside Country Park has a family friendly touring site with plenty of space for children to enjoy and with outstanding views over the open countryside. It is ideal for caravans, tents and motor homes.

The Cider Mill Field is a large four acre level open field catering for those wanting electrical or non-electrical hook-ups. We only have 8 non electric pitches, which are all at the end of the Cider Mill field closest to the entrance.  Once these have been booked, or if customers wish to be with friends elsewhere on the field, then a pitch with electric will need to be booked (even if no electric is used).  The pitches with electric are spread over the remaining two thirds of the field but are not marked out pitches, you decide where to pitch when you arrive.

Lakeside Pitches (tents only – no vehicles are allowed in the camping field – festival trolleys are available to help carry your camping gear from your car to your pitch) are pitches available in the field with our largest lake, where you can fish, paddleboard and swim. There are 6 set out pitches, this is the only area on our site where we have numbered pitches.  The playground is situated in this field near to the lake.

The Orchard Field is a small sloping field of approximately one acre with fruit trees and sheltered on the North and East by mature woodland with provision for seasonal pitches and for electrical hook-ups only, and is closer to reception, pods and bunkhouse room.

Both touring fields have toilet & showers, washing up areas and chemical waste disposal facilities.

The Cider Mill field has a washroom which is fully equipped for disabled guests, but please check availability for this room when booking between October – Easter.

An ideal base for walking, cycling, fishing (there is a small charge for fishing) wild swimming and paddleboarding, and we have a children’s playground situated in the lake field.

We operate a strict quiet policy across the site from 10.30 pm.

All customers must report to reception on arrival. Visitors are permitted but must report to reception on arrival, pay the appropriate fee and obtain a permit.
